About us

BMJ Learning is the best available learning website for medical professionals. It offers a wide range of learning resources, commissioned by the BMJ Group. The learning resources deal with everyday issues in primary care and hospital medicine, they are evidence based and kept up to date. We currently have over 300 learning modules.

Is BMJ Learning for you?

BMJ Learning is for:

  • Hospital doctors
  • GPs
  • GP trainees
  • Practice nurses
  • Practice managers
  • Receptionists
  • Anyone else who works in health care.

You can use it as an individual or you can use it to learn together as a team. For example, you could use our modules on audit, complaints, and preventing medical errors as a foundation for a half day's teaching on clinical governance. Learning together has many advantages. You can exchange information and experiences and you can share different insights and perspectives on clinical and ethical dilemmas.

When you register you will be asked if you are a hospital doctor or a Foundation years doctor or a GP or a GP trainee or a practice nurse or a practice manager. Once registered you will then be directed to the part of the site which is designed for you.
