Learning outcomes

1) Identify the efficacy and tolerability of tricyclic antidepressants in reducing headache burden among adults with migraine or tension type headache

2) Compare the efficacy and tolerability of tricyclics with that of other headache treatment modalities

3) Recognise the efficacy of tricyclics by specific type of headache

4) Identify whether tricyclic efficacy varies by dose or duration of treatment.
