Learning outcomes
After completing this module, you should:
- Have a better understanding of how to manage symptoms such as constipation, nausea, and vomiting in patients with an illness that is terminal
- Know the principles of pain management in palliative care
- Recognise and understand how to manage bowel obstruction
- Have a basic understanding of how to use syringe drivers to administer medications
- Know where to get further information on palliative care.
