Learning outcomes

After completing this module, you should:

  • Know that smoking cessation is a cost effective treatment for patients with COPD
  • Understand the role of pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with COPD
  • Know the indications for long term oxygen therapy in patients with COPD
  • Understand the role and cost effectiveness of drug and non-drug therapies in patients with COPD.
