Brendan Delaney is Professor of Primary Care at the University of Birmingham, and a part time GP principal in an innercity practice. He has been interested in the management of people with dyspepsia in primary care for the past 12 years, and he carried out the technical review for the National Institute for Clinical Excellence's latest dyspepsia guideline.
