| Biography: | John Sandars is senior lecturer in the Medical Education Unit at the University of Leeds and an adviser and part time general practitioner to Bradford and Airedale Teaching PCT. He was a member of the Research Council's patient safety network and the international LINNAEUS (Learning from International Networks About Errors and Understanding Safety in Primary Care) patient safety research network. He is the co-editor of ABC of Patient Safety and runs an online programme on patient safety and clinical risk management. |
