Getting started with BMJ Learning

We aim to make BMJ Learning as easy to use as possible. You might want to click around the site and experiment, but if you'd like a little help, we have some resources that you might find useful.

The site

If you're looking for a place to start, try your personal homepage. As long as you're signed in, it will recommend modules for you based on what you've told us about yor profession, specialty and location.

If you have questions about the site, we have a page of FAQs that answers common queries. You can also download our Getting Started user guide and our more detailed PDF user guide

The portfolio

BMJ Portfolio helps you record the learning you do. It will automatically keep track of the modules you take as you use BMJ Learning, making it easy to find them again. If you wish, you can also upload information about learning you've done elsewhere.

If you're new to BMJ Portfolio, you might want to take a look at the user guide. We also have a page of help and FAQs specifically for BMJ Portfolio.
