This module will help you to be more aware of the prevalence of domestic violence and abuse (DVA), its health consequences, and how to support women experiencing abuse.

After reading this module, you should:
- Be more aware of the prevalence of domestic violence and abuse
- Be more aware of the health consequences of domestic violence and abuse
- Have a better understanding of how you can identify women who may be at risk of domestic violence and abuse and ask them about this directly
- Be more informed about how to respond to disclosure of domestic violence and abuse, and how to offer further information and support.
