Advice for overseas doctors thinking about working in the UK

This resource is for doctors who have qualified outside of the UK, who hold nationality from a country outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), and who are thinking about working in the UK. It includes useful information on what a doctor would need to think about before they make the move. The different sections will provide information on what it is like to work as a doctor in the UK, the career options open to international doctors, and where to look for jobs, as well as important information on how to get a visa and register with the General Medical Council. If you are not already a subscriber, please take two minutes to register with BMJ Learning. It’s free, and you can access the resource by clicking "start module" and entering the email address you registered with.
